AOS was founded in 2021 to meet the growing demand from US and allied defense programs. Our goal is to assist navies with cost-effective and scalable solutions for a rapidly evolving marine battlefield, in which remote operations driven by automated technologies are now an R&D priority for modern-day naval defense and security professionals.
Operating at the forefront of marine autonomy development, AOS provides engineering, production, and sustainment services for the development and manufacture of USVs and integrated mission systems. Through our affiliated businesses, AOS has provided over 45 years of equipment and engineering expertise to both governmental and commercial clients on major defense-related projects.
AOS supports critical oceanographic initiatives in the exploration and production of offshore natural resources and provides full-service packages for inland, coastal, and deep-water offshore projects. AOS is equipped to support offshore oil and gas partners with equipment and engineering needs throughout the Life of Field, from pre-planning analysis and site investigation through to decommissioning and abandonment.
We also have recent experience of supporting the offshore renewable energy projects with the tools and talent to deliver geophysical, geotechnical, and environmental consultancy services. In addition, AOS provides highly custom engineering services to some niche markets, including ocean mining organizations, cruise ship operators, and theme park operators.
AOS provides integrated technical services, specialized marine operations, and program management to assist with the design, planning, and installation of global seabed development projects. Partnering with commercial customers from the telcomms industry and the burgeoning ocean ICT space, AOS has delivered hundreds of high-profile submarine cable networking projects (fiber and power cables) and other custom seabed installation projects.
